Bismillah..

Assalamualaikum..

So I supposed to be writing this reflective a week ago... but I'm sorry for the late.. mianhaeyo (read: I'm sorry)..

Last week, there is really a lot of things to learn.. there is the prezi things.. I have heard about it a lot.. but never opened it.. I thought there is a price for that.. haha

Also I encounter some problems.. I cant enrolled in any of the group.. the news critique.. the internet project.. Alhamdulillah, things get done real quick.. All problems solved!! Get working on..

Did I get stressed out?

1. What did you learn about the Wireless Cafe from their web site?

a. What kind of restaurant is the Wireless Cafe?

The Shanghai Wireless Cafe is Shanghai newest, most modern and most exciting cafe to date in China. Their cuisine is a contemporary interpretation of classical Chinese cuisine.

b. What are the attractions of the Wireless Cafe?

The attractions are it offers totally free wireless coverage, Bluetooth printing and peripheral services, as well as wireless connectivity for presentation and display needs. It is equipped with latest IT facilities and convenient for business discussions.  Its location also makes it very attractive place for people to visit it which is on the famous Bund along the Huangpu River.

c. What is the organizational structure of the Wireless Cafe?

There is a free, wireless internet access in the café and the people in the café are able to exchange messages from a table to another.

d. Who’s the head chef?

e. What recognition has the Wireless Cafe received?

The Shanghai restaurant has been recognized as one of the most novel and contemporary restaurants in the world. It is also received the following awards which are Shanghai "Golden Chopsticks" award for the best cuisine and "Shanghai Reader's Survey Restaurant" award for the best wireless connectivity.

f. Are there currently any job openings at the Wireless Cafe?

The current job openings at the Wireless care are Wireless technician, Assistant chef, and events manager.

g. How can you contact the Wireless Cafe?

They have contact information, such us phone number, fax number, and email addresses.

h. What’s on the Wireless Café’s intranet?

Shanghai Wireless café creates direct online communication with local fishermen, installs next-generation Wi-Fi for connection wait stuff and kitchen. Next, Shanghai Wireless Cafe integrates online inventory and ordering system.

2. What information and communication technology pressures does the Wireless Cafe face?

Wireless Cafe implement an online communication system with local fisherman and  face information and communication technology pressure when they have to learn them how to use the system properly. Cafe's inventory and ordering systems were integrated into a single, web-based portal.

3. What market and societal pressures are unique to the hospitality industry in general and to the Wireless Cafe in particular?

For the social pressure I believe people demands is one of them because even in one family each member of the family has his own demand and taste,  So, it’s a pressure on the café to satisfy the demands of all of his customers. And for the market pressure I believe that change of the price of supplies is a pressure on the café because if the price of a  necessary supply in the café gets higher in the market it will cause financial problems to the café.

4. Find the website of another restaurant similar to Wireless Cafe.

a) Identify the information it provides about the restaurant.

b) Create a table in Word that compares and contrasts information about the Wireless Café website and the website you have found.  Your table should have four columns, like the following example:

The picture of the product could attract the customer and make them eager to go and get it.
Reservation	Yes	No	Wireless Café provide online reservation whereby the customer could choose the room and other request compare to Secret Recipe.
Facility	Yes	Yes	Wireless Café provide free wireless internet access, Bluetooth print, peripheral service, and wireless connectivity for presentation and display need. As for Secret Recipe, they only provide basic need like Wi-Fi internet.
About us	Yes	Yes	Wireless café provided clear information as well as their achievement. This could attract more customer as well as gain customer confidence. Secret Recipe only provide information about how they establish and their mission

5. Download the spreadsheet Ch01_SalesSummary.xls, open it in Excel, and for each of the three data sorts below describe what knowledge you have gained by taking the raw data, turning it into information by organizing it and then studying it for patterns.

            a. Sort the data by Table, then insert Subtotals (Data -> Subtotals) for the Total

    column

            b. Sort the data by Waitstaff, then insert Subtotals for Food, Drinks and Total

            c. Sort the data by Table, then by Hour and insert Subtotals for Total

Prepare a 3-4 slide PowerPoint presentation for Jade and Jimmy based on the knowledge you gained from manipulating the spreadsheet in problem #3 above.

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

first of all, I am very sorry that I didn't attend the class and also the lab. But I am grateful that my coursemate did not left me behind. They did share me what lecturers taught in the class and also giving answers for my questions.

I have come with this blog since my matriculation life. it is not just a regular blog. its like my journal sometimes because I didn't create this just for completing the subject but also to share with the world my happy moments.

so thank goodness that this subjects bring back my mood for blog writing.. I have left it unorganize for about one year already.. my bad.. sorry my blog..

cepat je masa berlalu.. dah 3 tahun aku merantau keluar dari negeri jelapang padi.. sepanjang masa tu, mcm2 dah jadi..

FINAL YEAR. FINAL SEM.

sem last aku.. aku nak habiskan dekat Kedah.. tak tahu kenapa tapi I need to go back there.. back then when I was here... there is too much things I couldnt accomplish when it comes to my family.. sbg contoh, last May I lost my tokwan.. dan aku tak boleh nak balik.. jarak dan kewangan tak mengizinkan.. menangis aku kat sini.. dan sampai sekarang, saat ni. aku belum pun dapat jenguk kubur arwah tok wan aku..

so for the last sem, I want to spend my time there, In case something happen again, I could just run back home. tak boleh predict masa hadapan.
